Dear Friends of Cancer Patients,
On August 30th 2011, six climbers from the Climb for Cancer team will be heading out on their second journey, this time traveling to Russia to climb Mt. Elbrus. At 5,642 meters above sea level, Mt. Elbrus holds the record as Europe's highest peak. The purpose of our climb is to raise money for three children suffering from cancer.
We are determined to raise at least US$ 150,000 to help three pediatric cancer patients with their treatment and help them return to a carefree childhood. We are hopeful that with your help, these children will have the chance for a cure and be able to return to their friends and family and enjoy the normal life that every young child deserves.
Please help and support our climb. The fight against cancer is an uphill battle. Your contribution, however amount it may be, will help put these children back on the road to recovery. Together we can make a real difference in their lives.
With our thanks and appreciation,
The Climb for Cancer Team
